The Glass floor inside Starbucks open onto a Roman Street Scene
Ref Number: 101
The Glass floor inside Starbucks open onto a Roman street scene and city wall find that dates back to the 1st to 3rd century from the ancient city of Odessos. Its alleged slabstone covering suggests it was situated near the city’s periphery. Of particular interest are the remnants of a circular sewage pumping shaft and a marble slab that may have formerly been a tomb and depicts a merchant ship in relief.
It is much better in person, so please do drop over to see it for yourself.
