Departure. The assembly point is 40 miles west of Cape Tarkan. In the case of a storm or dispersion, the plan was to return to Balchik.
On September 14th, landing at Old Fort (Keziliar).
The army landed to the south of Evpatoria, namely on the beach of the Old Fort (Keziliar), on the same day as the initial three French divisions arrived. They positioned themselves strategically to defend against any potential assault. The 4th Infantry Division, under the command of General Fauré, was deployed southward along the coastline, aiming towards the mouth of the Kach River. The objective was to deceive the enemy regarding the actual location of the landing place. On September 1st, they reunited with the main force and immediately disembarked with the Turkish division.
