Mihail G. Arnaudov Dwelling - A wonderful illustration of the Secession architectural style or Art Nouveau.
Ref Number: 174
With its location on “Tsar Asen” street, the residence of Mihail G. Arnaudov was constructed between the years 1912 and 1914. Yosif H. Stoyanov, an engineer, was the one who came up with the idea for the architectural project.
This structure is a wonderful illustration of the Secession architectural style(Art Nouveau), which was considered to be attractive during that era.
Facades that are lavishly decorated are very rather eye-catching. There is a significant attention to detail displaying flowers, grapes, and macarons. This ornament, which depicts a solar disk with a human face on it, is really interesting. A significant number of people who live in Varna refer to the structure as “The House with the Sun” because of this particular feature.
Today it has been lovingly restored and is a children’s day centre.
