The building of the Varna-Preslav Bishopric was built in 1902 to the design of architect Petko Momchilov.

The same architect designed Varna Girl’s High School (now Archeological Museum) (constructed within the period 1893 – 1898), following the architectural lines of the neobaroque style. In its time, it was the biggest school house in the Balkans.
