The Royal Hotel was built at № 26 Ohrid Street in 1905. Initially its owner was P. Dosev succeeded by Philip Hristov in 1937.

The imposing building of The Royal Hotel still exists at № 26 Ohrid Street. Not long ago, the building used to house the military commandant`s office.

There were restaurants, cafes, shops, and barbershops below the hotel.
