Established in 1963, the College of Tourism is one of the core branches of the University of Economics.Admitted in the college are only students who have completed their secondary education and they passed the exams in Theoretical Knowledge, Practical Skills and First and Second Foreign Languages.

After completing the course, which duration is three academic years, the graduates hold a University Diploma for Higher Education and a European Diploma Supplement in English.The Tourism Management, Leisure Management and Hotel and Restaurant Management Graduates can continue their education by obtaining a Master’s Degree at the University of Economics – Varna, Veliko Turnovo University, Sofia University and Oxford Brookes University, UK. In addition, they can start their work in  the Domestic and International Tourism Industry at operations or junior management positions.

They can become managers in tour and travel agent’s, entertainers, sport and activity organizers in amusement and theme parks, as heads of departments in hotels, motels, campsites or bartenders, wine stewards, catering and banqueting specialists.
